Left Hand Shakes is an indie pop/rock band based out of Denver, CO that specializes in earnest, stirring lyrics under the guise of danceable hooks and singable melodies. Driven by frontman Josh Kern's songwriting, Left Hand Shakes' music embraces vulnerability while simultaneously poking fun at it. The resulting sound is honest, guitar-driven pop music that draws comparisons to Two Door Cinema Club, Foals, Bad Suns, etc.

After forming in early 2016, Left Hand Shakes wasted little time and hit the Denver concert circuit in earnest. After a considerable string of local shows, the band released their debut EP titled "Don't Act So Strange" to a sold out show at the Larimer Lounge in November 2016. The record was well received and helped to further establish Left Hand Shakes as a heavy hitting local act. Their follow up record, titled "Sit Still", is set to be released in Spring 2018.

"Their sound is undeniably catchy, but upon closer listen, their lyrics are thoughtful and perceptive..." "...heavy guitar riffs combined with pop music. That strong guitar sound is what initially drew us to the band, but we also enjoy Kern’s vocals..."
